Privacy Policy

In this Privacy Policy, "VerifiFlo", "we", "our", and "us" refer to the operators of the VerifiFlo service.

VerifiFlo helps builders collect structured feedback on their products. It supports:

• Builders creating and sharing product projects
• Public project feedback links that builders share with the people they want feedback from
• Structured product feedback and validation insights, including the Validation Score
• Explore & Review, where builders can review other builders' products and contribute feedback
• Ask Feedback requests between eligible builders and eligible reviewers
• Public reviewer profiles and reviewer-directory discovery
• Independent reviewers, who can create a lightweight reviewer profile without creating a VerifiFlo builder account

This policy explains what information VerifiFlo handles today, why it is handled, and the choices you have. It describes the product as it currently works. If the product changes in a way that affects privacy, this page is updated.

By using VerifiFlo, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.

The information involved depends on how you use VerifiFlo.

Builders

People who create a VerifiFlo account to run projects. We may process:

• Name and email address
• Authentication and account information
• Profile information, including optional social links where provided
• Projects and project content, including project logos and product URLs
• Instructions for Reviewers
• Reviews and feedback collected on their projects
• Reviewer-directory settings
• Ask Feedback requests they send or receive, including timestamps, statuses, project associations and related operational records
• Billing and subscription information where applicable

A builder's reviewer-directory settings are separate from their project-based public feedback links. Changing one does not change the other.

Independent reviewers

People who create a reviewer profile without running projects. They may provide:

• Display name
• Current role
• An optional photo
• A private email address
• An optional public X link
• An optional public LinkedIn link
• Reviewer profile verification information
• A reviewer-directory visibility preference
• A feedback-request availability preference

We also hold their reviews, contribution history, and Ask Feedback request records.

• Independent reviewers do not need to create a VerifiFlo builder account.
• Their private email is used for verification, profile management, and transactional communications.
• Their private email is not displayed publicly.
• Independent reviewers do not receive public project feedback links.
• Their profile and contribution history may be retained even if they hide their profile or stop accepting feedback requests.

People shown in the public reviewer directory

Depending on the person's own settings, the public reviewer directory may display:

• Display name
• Role
• Photo where available
• Optional X and LinkedIn links
• The number of distinct projects reviewed, as a public contribution count
• Ranking or featured placement based on contribution activity
• Whether the person is currently available for feedback requests

Directory visibility is controlled by each person's own profile setting, so the directory does not necessarily show every builder or reviewer.

People who open a public project feedback link

They see the project information and Instructions for Reviewers that the builder chooses to publish, and they can submit structured feedback after completing the reviewer verification step. We hold their ratings and any optional written feedback, along with what is needed to confirm they are a real, unique reviewer for that project. Opening a feedback link does not create a VerifiFlo account.

Visitors

People who browse the public website without signing in or submitting feedback. We hold only basic usage information about the visit.

Paid plans

VerifiFlo offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan. If you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect the information needed to create, manage, and support your subscription, such as your plan, billing contact details, and subscription history. Payments are processed securely by an authorised payment provider, and VerifiFlo does not store complete payment card information.

Information you type or upload into VerifiFlo, which may include:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Project information such as the project name, description, product URL, estimated testing time, and project logo
• Instructions for Reviewers that you write for your project
• Review responses: ratings for First Impression, Ease of Use, Design & UI, and Performance
• Optional written feedback submitted with a review
• Reviewer profile information such as display name, role, optional photo, and optional X and LinkedIn links
• A private reviewer email address
• Reviewer profile settings for directory visibility and feedback-request availability
• Ask Feedback request information, including the project you select and the details included in the invitation
• Messages you send us through the contact page or by email

Reviewer email addresses and private request history are not displayed publicly.

Builders should only share demo or testing credentials that they are comfortable making available to anyone with the project's feedback link. Production credentials should never be shared. Please also avoid including personal data about other people in project descriptions or reviewer instructions.

When you use VerifiFlo, some information is recorded automatically:

• Authentication and session information that keeps you signed in
• Device and browser information such as browser type, operating system, screen size, and approximate region derived from your IP address
• Basic usage information such as the pages you view and the actions you take in the app

VerifiFlo may use analytics tools provided by trusted third-party service providers to understand how VerifiFlo is used, improve usability, diagnose issues and improve the overall user experience. Analytics may be used on the public marketing website and inside the signed-in builder application. Analytics are never used on public project feedback pages, reviewer feedback forms, public reviewer pages, or the reviewer verification flow. Analytics technologies are used subject to your consent where consent is required by applicable law, and we do not use advertising cookies or behavioural advertising. You can change or withdraw your analytics choice at any time using the cookie settings link in the website footer.

Builders can sign in to VerifiFlo in two ways:

• Email and password. Your password is stored securely and is never visible to us in readable form.
• Sign in with a third-party identity provider. When you use a third-party identity provider to create or access a builder account, it shares the minimum profile information needed to create and identify your account, such as your name, email address, and profile picture.

If you sign in with an identity provider using an email address that already has a verified VerifiFlo account, both sign-in methods resolve to the same account.

Reviewer verification is separate from builder authentication. Reviewers verify only to confirm their identity and prevent duplicate reviews; reviewer verification does not create a VerifiFlo builder account.

Reviewers verify their identity with Google after completing the feedback form and before the feedback is submitted. Verification exists to keep feedback trustworthy: it helps confirm reviewer uniqueness and reduces duplicate or abusive submissions.

• Builders cannot see reviewer email addresses through the review experience.
• Reviewer identity is never shown publicly.
• VerifiFlo stores only the information necessary to recognise repeat submissions for the same project and maintain the integrity of the review process.
• Verifying as a reviewer does not create a VerifiFlo builder account.

Verification confirms that the person completed the VerifiFlo flow. It does not prove that a reviewer is a customer, a paying user, or otherwise affiliated with the product being reviewed.

Builders and independent reviewers can have a reviewer profile. Two separate settings control how that profile is used.

Public directory visibility

• Builders and independent reviewers may control whether their reviewer profile appears in the public reviewer directory.
• When visibility is turned off, the profile is removed from the public reviewer directory and cannot be selected for new directory-based Ask Feedback requests.
• Existing reviews, contribution history, profile records, and private information are retained.
• A builder can still send Ask Feedback requests to eligible people even if the builder hides their own reviewer profile.
• A builder's project-based public feedback links continue working regardless of reviewer-directory visibility.
• Independent reviewers do not have public project feedback links.

Feedback-request availability

• A listed reviewer may separately choose whether to accept new Ask Feedback requests.
• When availability is turned off but directory visibility remains on, the profile may remain listed with an unavailable state.
• Other builders cannot send new directory-based requests to that person while availability is turned off.
• Existing request records and reviews are retained.
• For builders, receiving directory-based requests also depends on having at least one currently active project.
• Both directory visibility and feedback-request availability must be enabled for a person to receive new directory-based requests.

• To display public project pages and public reviewer profiles according to each user's settings
• To collect, organise, and display feedback
• To generate validation insights for the builder, including the Validation Score and the ratings shown on the dashboard
• To attribute eligible contributions to reviewer profiles or builder reviewer identities
• To enable Explore & Review and reviewer contribution features
• To send Ask Feedback invitations and related transactional emails
• To maintain request status, prevent duplicate requests, apply rate limits, and prevent abuse and spam
• To let users manage reviewer-directory visibility and feedback-request availability
• To create, manage, and support paid subscriptions
• To respond to questions and support requests
• To understand how the product is used so we can improve usability and diagnose issues

VerifiFlo does not sell your personal information or use your personal information to build advertising or behavioural profiles.

VerifiFlo sends transactional emails only. These are messages tied to an action you or another user took:

• Account-related emails, such as email verification after you sign up
• Password reset when you request one
• Reviewer verification and reviewer profile confirmation emails
• Secure reviewer profile management emails containing a link to manage your profile
• Ask Feedback invitation emails
• Confirmation that your account is scheduled for deletion, and confirmation that your account has been restored
• Other necessary service or security communications

An Ask Feedback invitation email may include:

• The builder's name
• The selected project or product name
• The estimated review time
• Instructions for Reviewers
• A link to give feedback

Transactional emails are delivered through an email delivery provider, which processes the recipient address and message content only to deliver the message. Sending an email does not guarantee that it reaches or is read by the recipient.

VerifiFlo uses a small number of cookies and similar browser storage:

• Strictly necessary authentication and session storage, which keeps you signed in and is required for the app to work
• Preference storage, such as your light or dark theme choice and your cookie choice
• Analytics cookies or similar technologies on the public marketing website and in the signed-in builder application, used to recognise repeat visits and produce aggregated usage insights. These are never used on public project feedback pages, reviewer feedback forms, public reviewer pages, or the reviewer verification flow

Strictly necessary technologies are required for core functionality and cannot be switched off. Analytics cookies and similar technologies are used only where you have given consent, where consent is required by applicable law, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time from the cookie settings link in the website footer. Blocking authentication cookies will prevent you from signing in.

VerifiFlo does not use advertising cookies and does not carry out behavioural advertising.

VerifiFlo relies on a small number of third-party service providers to operate, including:

• Authentication providers used for builder sign-in
• Google reviewer verification
• An email delivery provider for transactional emails
• A payment provider for paid plans
• An analytics provider, used subject to your consent where required

Products reviewed through VerifiFlo, along with pages linked from project descriptions, Instructions for Reviewers, or reviewer social links, are operated by third parties. VerifiFlo is not responsible for their privacy practices, content, or services. When you open a product to test it, that website or application handles your information under its own terms.

VerifiFlo may retain:

• Builder account and project records, according to the account lifecycle described below
• Reviews and validation history
• Reviewer profile and contribution records
• Feedback request records
• Verification and security records
• Billing and support records where applicable

Account deletion works as follows:

• When you request account deletion, your account is scheduled for permanent deletion and you are signed out.
• For 30 days you can restore the account by signing in again, which cancels the deletion.
• After the 30-day period the account and its associated data, including projects and their reviews, are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Visibility settings are separate from deletion:

• Hiding a reviewer profile does not delete the profile or past contribution history.
• Turning off feedback-request availability does not delete reviews or request history.
• Reviewer emails remain private and are retained only as needed for verification, profile management, transactional communication, security, and legitimate operational purposes.

Reviewers who want a submitted review removed can contact us, or ask the builder of the project to delete it. Some records may be retained where necessary for operational, legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

VerifiFlo applies reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including secure authentication, encryption of data in transit, and access controls that restrict project data to the account that owns it. Public project feedback pages expose only what a reviewer needs to complete a review, and public reviewer profiles expose only the information the person has chosen to publish.

No online service can promise perfect security, but we work to keep VerifiFlo's safeguards current and proportionate to the data it holds.

You have direct control over several things inside the product:

• Builders can manage their account and profile information, and delete their account, from Settings.
• Builders can control whether their reviewer profile appears in the public reviewer directory.
• Builders can control whether they accept new feedback requests.
• Independent reviewers can manage their profile through the secure email-link management flow.
• Independent reviewers can hide their profile or stop accepting feedback requests.

Turning off public visibility stops future public display. It does not automatically delete historical reviews or contribution records.

Subject to applicable law, you may also have rights to:

• Access the information VerifiFlo holds about you
• Correct information that is inaccurate
• Delete your account and the data associated with it
• Object to or restrict certain uses of your information
• Request access to, or a copy of, certain information associated with your use of VerifiFlo

For anything you cannot change yourself, email privacy@verififlo.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

VerifiFlo is a tool for people building products and is not directed at children. It is not intended for anyone under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to VerifiFlo, contact us and we will delete it.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, matters relating to this Privacy Policy are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

We may update this policy as VerifiFlo changes. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of the page changes. For significant changes affecting how your information is used, we will make the update clear within the product.

Your continued use of VerifiFlo after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
